Hiking & Trail Exploration
Teton Valley and surrounding areas offer extensive hiking trails for all skill levels. Teton Valley Trails and Pathways (TVTAP) supports these trails.
- Moose Creek Trail (near Victor): Mostly flat, 7-mile round trip through dense forests, suitable for families. Good for wildlife viewing.
- Bannock Trail (Grand Targhee Resort, near Driggs): Moderately challenging 6.2-mile out-and-back trail through alpine meadows and forests with panoramic Teton views. Option to use the Dreamcatcher lift.
- Grand Teton National Park Trails:
- Jenny Lake Trail: Popular 7.1-mile loop with phenomenal views.
- Hidden Falls & Inspiration Point: Accessible via a 4.9-mile round trip from Jenny Lake (shuttle boat available). Leads to a 100-foot waterfall and sweeping vistas.
- Taggart Lake Loop: Easy 3.8-mile trail through meadows and forests to a clear alpine lake.
- Cascade Canyon Trail: Moderate 9.2-mile trek deep into the park with incredible views of the Cathedral Group.
